Manager and Broker Opportunities

The Investment Division of the Maryland State Retirement Agency has developed a convenient way for offerors to submit online proposals to provide investment management or brokerage services by completing the appropriate questionnaire below. Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) are encouraged to pursue manager and broker opportunities with the Maryland State Retirement and Pension System.

Investment managers or brokers who consider themselves to be MBEs are encouraged to obtain certification from the Maryland Department of Transportation. We also encourage our investment managers to make a good faith effort to utilize as brokers “certified minority business enterprises,” or CMBEs, as certified by the Office of Minority Business Enterprise, Maryland Department of Transportation. A current directory of CMBEs is available here.

If you are interested in obtaining more information on how to become a Certified Minority Business Enterprise in the directory, please visit CMBE website for more information on the application process.
