Board of Trustees Meeting Formats
Board of Trustees and Committee meetings are conducted via videoconference or in person, as indicated on the meeting schedules.
Videoconference
For meetings conducted via videoconference, the public will be provided with a link to register to view the open sessions via WebEx. Each meeting link, as well as the meeting agenda, will be posted below under the individually titled meetings.
Members of the public who wish to access the videoconference on site or those without technology to access the videoconference may contact the Maryland State Retirement Agency at 410-625-5609 no later than 24 hours before the meeting to make alternative arrangements for access.
In Person
For meetings conducted in person, participants will have the option of convening in the Retirement Agency’s Baltimore offices or attending via videoconference. Each meeting link, as well as the meeting agenda, will be posted below under the individually titled meetings.
General Meeting Information
Portions of any Board of Trustees or Committee meeting may be held in closed session, at which time access to the videoconference will be unavailable.
Documents discussed during the open session meeting may be requested via a public records request. Click here for instructions.
Board of Trustees
The full Board generally meets at 9:30 a.m. on the third Tuesday of each month. Exceptions occur in the months of February, May, September, October, November and December. During these four months, the Board meets immediately following the Investment Committee meeting or the annual Board education session.
Administrative Committee
The Administrative Committee meets at 9:30 a.m.

Objective Criteria Committee
The Objective Criteria Committee was established by State law in 2018 to make recommendations to the Board of Trustees regarding the compensation and financial incentives for the Chief Investment Officer and certain positions within the Agency’s Investment Division.
