The full Board meets at 9:30 a.m., the third Tuesday of each month except in the months of February, May, September and November, when it meets immediately following the Investment Committee meeting. (See schedule below for dates)
Notice of Time Change
The May 21, 2019 meeting of the Board of Trustees is now scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. in order to receive a presentation from the System’s actuary, Gabriel Roeder Smith & Company, on the preliminary results of the experience study. The Board of Trustees will then recess the meeting and reconvene immediately following the adjournment of the Investment Committee meeting.

Ad Hoc Committees
A Meeting of the Ad Hoc Committee on Actuarial Economic Assumptions of the Board of Trustees will take place on Monday, June 17, 2019 beginning at 10:00 a.m. to discuss the Board of Trustees options regarding the System’s actuarial assumed rate of return. This matter will be discussed in open session.
A Meeting of the Ad Hoc Committee on Strategic Planning and Governance of the Board of Trustees will take place on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, beginning immediately following the Board of Trustees meeting, but not earlier than 10:30 a.m., to discuss and develop a new Strategic Plan for the System which will 1) make recommendations regarding the future governance structure of the System and 2) develop an operational strategic plan for the State Retirement Agency for the five-year period of FY2020 through FY2025. This matter will be discussed in open session.
